LEM introduces in it’s range the CYCLOP, a new integrated
loudspeaker system designed to provide musicians and audio professionals
with the most complete solution for a high quality sound reproduction. The CYCLOP is a 3-way
bi-amplified system made of TWO SATELLITES and ONE SUBWOOFER.
An amplifier module hosted inside the CYCLOP SUB feeds both the
satellites and the sub, offering the possibility to have loudspeakers,
amplifiers and electronic controls integrated in the same system. Designed to
be the most versatile and efficient tool for the LIVE musician, the
CYCLOP SYSTEM is also suitable for installations in clubs, pubs and
public venues. The CYCLOP cabinets are built using MEDIUM DENSITY
FIBER (MDF) painted with a black, scratch-resistant paint. Each enclosure
is fitted with speaker stand adaptor, handles and metal grille for protection.
The CYCLOP SUB also includes four wheels on the back panel and
its front panel is designed in order to accomodate the two satellites for the
easiest transportation possible. CYCLOP SAT utilizes for the top end a niobium horn tweeter with polycarbonate
diaphragm, which ensures both brightness and frequency extension. An
electronic circuit protects the tweeter against any possible overload,
ensuring maximum reliability. A custom made 8" woofer provides an
accurate response in the mid range, resulting in particularly efficient human
voice reproduction. The CYCLOP SAT can handle 150W of continuous power
and is equipped with a 1/4" JACK for the power connection with the
amplifier hosted in the sub. The CYCLOP SUB utilizes
a 15" high power woofer in bass-reflex configuration, able to guarantee
a very high efficiency in the low range reproduction. The built-in power
module includes one 300W amplifier for the sub itself and two
150W amplifiers for the satellites. Several electronic devices can
guarantee the total control of the system for the best sound quality and the
maximum reliability: - an ACTIVE EQ CIRCUIT is
used to optimize the response of the system, in order to get the best
performance possible; - an ACTIVE CROSSOVER divides
the frequencies to be sent to the satellites and to the sub amplifiers; - an ANTI-CLIPPING
CIRCUIT protects all the speakers against overloads, avoiding any damage
or distortion. |
